Set up Nextcloud Talk on your smartphone

Follow these steps to connect the Nextcloud Talk app to your Redcloud account.

You will need:

  • Your full email address

  • Your Nextcloud password

Step 1 – Install Nextcloud Talk

On your mobile device:

  • Android: Open Google Play Store and install Nextcloud Talk

  • iPhone: Open the App Store and install Nextcloud Talk

Open the app after installation.

Step 2 – Enter the Server Address

  1. Tap Log in.

  2. When asked for the server, enter:

redcloud.be
  1. Tap Continue.

The app will now connect to the Redcloud Nextcloud server.

Step 3 – Log In with Your Account

You will be redirected to the Nextcloud login page.

Enter:

  • Username: your full email address

  • Password: your Nextcloud password

Tap Log in.

Step 4 – Approve Access

If prompted:

  • Confirm the login

  • Allow permissions for notifications and microphone

After approval, the Talk app will open and sync your conversations.

Troubleshooting

If login fails:

  • Make sure you entered redcloud.be correctly.

  • Ensure your username is your full email address.

  • Verify your password works when logging in via browser.

  • Check your internet connection.
